Zinc EDTA is a micronutrient fertiliser that contains Zinc in the form of EDTA and is fortified with the primary nutrients NPK. Zinc EDTA is a chelated zinc formulation for foliar spray in which organic molecules bind the nutritional cations in a ring-like shape. In order to bind Zinc, the chemical compound EDTA (Ethylene Diamine Tetra Acetic Acid) is utilised as a chelating agent.The purpose of the chelated product is to preserve the nutritional ion (Zn) in a soluble but stable form until it is absorbed by the root.
