Nilambur Teak Plantation is located 2 kms from Nilambur town, in the district of Malappuram. The Teak plantation here is the oldest in the world. The teak plantation derives its name from H.V Conolly, the then Collector of British Malabar, who laid the foundation of the plantation in 1840's.
